Well its the one that tipped the balance IMHO .. The Russian thing has been going on for months... Gaza also cooking for some time ... the new news is the default... other "News" touted was Eurozone inflation, U.S. employee compensation costs increased, US jobless claims ..
You find after many years of watching big indices moves that the media generally as no idea why they occurred and the just latch onto something Sometimes its extremely amusing ... Remember you don't have to be a Ph'D to be a reporter the opposite in fact (Not a fan of Media reports .. to much power generally speaking in uneducated hands leads to false conclusions) ... For me the Argentina Default is the Straw that broke the camels back... Understand the Spanish aren't far off either

And to be fair not one person on here picked any of these reasons for the recent sell off in TON from 90.5c
    a) Russia issue
    b) Gaza issue
    c) Argentina
    d) Employee compensation
    e) Eurozone inflation
    f) US Jobless claims

The bubble "theory" for graphite was nullified IMO as Bell Weather SYR and LMB on the ASX showed no reaction what so ever !! ... but both did show a reaction to the general world market malaise today... albeit mild

    All is IMHO

PS: Any Vanadium Party... as Kelsie coined it... would include SYR and TON
