I see Macquarie Group are about to enter the energy retailing sector, the margins on offer must be enticing! No wonder - with monolith and cumbersome players like Origin entrenched. Nimble players like MTU can start cross selling to their substantial private and business telephony customers.

It seems this is where MTU are to seek growth. I asked the company last week about their debt levels. Their plan is to reduce debt by about $30m per annum. Organic growth appears to be the focus now.
