future in us

A couple of factors could help LNC turn a quicker profit in the future on US soil. With the crisis unfolding in the middle east (unrest, rebellions - it has the potential of a civil war) The US will no doubt cut red tape and fast track oil/gas resources in their own backyard to enhance some independence from middle east supplies. LNC is sitting in the right spot with good assets to take advantage of any fast tracking of energy supplies. Also does anyone know how long the Chincilla plant will remain a testing site. If LNC are not permitted by Qld govt. to go into production why not close & move the plant. You would think a smart state govt. would do a deal to secure some cheap (alternative) diesel fuel for transport. The move to invest outside Australia seems a good one. The Australian assets face pressures from changing policies, rising taxes & costs, uncertainty in govt. lack of +ve decisions and direction, Environmental and people pressures (unbalanced green approach to land use etc).
Any other thoughts out there? cheers
