I made that mistake once. First bought ALK at 40cents and then kept buying as they dropped to 18-20cents. Thankfully ended up with an average position of 30cents. Was in the red for a few years but was just so convinced with the fundamentals. I figured I just got in far too early and was fortunate enough to be able to hold the majority of shares I’d bought (had to let some go at a loss to finance other things). Thankfully the patience has paid off considerably. If it wasn’t for the falling price back then I don’t think I would have ended up with anywhere near as many shares.
could have been a much different ending, but very pleased this one came through!
