OK, lets see.
Attempting to set a standard in an industry could go down one of two paths
1. The Sun Java path, great product, don't have a clear path to make money go out of business
2. The Phillips/Sony (Jame T Russell) collabaration of the CD, collaborate and produce a wide spread standard used in the gazillions until better tech comes along.
As XPE is already collaborating hopefully we will see the CD example.
