Looks like the jackals have selected the weakest antelope who has fallen behind the pack. Would not be surprised if they were to attempt something along the lines of HBOS.
I don't think the fundamentals here are too much worse than the other Aussie banks but its easier to target one at a time. There isn't much apparently wrong with HBOS either. I am steering clear for the time being though I guess one day there will be some great squeeze action.
