Heremes, I think you misunderstand badly either the position of our banks, or of US banks.
By "our banks" I'm referring to NAB/ANZ/WBC/CBA, not the likes of BNB. BNB are the same sort of jokers as at Lehman and Merrill Lynch, with similar sp performance this year. I'm just waiting for Macquarie to follow suit also.
