Those who don’t understand options should go nowhere near them. Unfortunately it is common for many to lose as the risks haven’t been fully considered - time decay is the biggest factor to think no about and the exit strategy. On the reward side the options are a leveraged play to the company kicking some goals - if they can do so before expiry then option holders can do very well.
