Bazza has provided a reason why prices were elevated. During the time of these elevated prices some posters were doing triple somersaults with a half pike. Now that prices are reverting to the mean, some posters, names withheld to protect the guilty, are either doom & gloom or desperately trying to see the positive. Elevated prices are great for current producers selling at spot and great for sector sentiment.
The link you provided shows an outlook trend which is continually downward... towards the LT mean. In opaque commodities like phosphate, contracted prices are the best source of data. However, the globally accepted spot price (Moroccan) will impact sentiment. And the AEV threads are a classic example of this.
And before you get your knickers in a knot, I don't own CXM and I do not have multiple nicks or any other BS conspiracy. When I post something positive or give positive feedback to your posts, you are happy. When I post something with a bearish bias, you are upset.
