Im not sure I understand what you are saying.
For example I purchased 20m oppies in another company @ 0.018 cents and a conversion price of 2 cents. Similar stage to where AEV are at. Conversion time was 2.5 years and I took the position the share price would be well North of the conversion price plus my buy in. I converted the options to fully paid shares when the share price hit 15 cents from memory and sold the ALL the converted shares between .25-35 cents.
