    Hi Folks

    Thanks r2t2

Merger activity/takeover activity is alive and well and with many (like Mega) taking the 'long term' view re uranium and buying stakes in companies globally its natural that projects like AEX will come under the spotlight of bigger companies looking at adding to their portfolios of not only uranium....but lets not forget gold as well.

The several billion dollars that is inferred at Denny Dalton must be attractive to potential suitors. The fact that the company has just taken full control of the operation says that it is ready come what may.
the fact that the geology and exploration profile is very attractive also suggests that this operation has a lot of blue sky attached.....blue sky added to an inferred several billion dollar resource!

The recent history of AEX suggests that they may indeed be trying to prepare DD for a sell like they have done with earlier projects.

As a shareholder I hope this isnt the case. One look at PDN and MTX would suggest that perseverance WILL pay off....and competent management.

Clearly the drilling campaign needs to confirm earlier drilling and get the share price heading north.....and quickly imo.

CCI, as an example, have imo been too eager and accepting of taking an offer above (barely!) the share price/market cap (one already depressed)
Although we dont know the details and the whole story, it appears at this stage that the company management was unable/inept to take advantage of a great opportunity. The buck passing there and relinquishment of responsibility in the ASX releases suggests they were not up to the challenge.
They were unable to 'effectively communicate' the project and sell it to the market plain and simple.

    Time will tell there.

Lets hope AEX have learnt from PDN/MTX.

Imo they have a rare opportunity in this market to add considerable value to a project bought opportunistically before the big moves in gold and uranium for $6 million.

The history, the geology, the money invested over the last 30 years inparticular resulting in 240 odd holes being drilled suggests they are on a winner.

The 'early indicators' are that TG is on the ball. Lets hope he can sell this project and communicate effectively and professionally enough to warrant this project getting the acknowledgement and notice it 'appears' to be deserving.

These 11 holes that are being drilled right now, and the comments that will follow from the company on the campaign, will give an indicator of their plans and their seriousness regarding developing the project.

Does TG have what it takes I wonder? stay tuned because we will be finding out shortly.
