People, governments and all sorts of movements or ideologies have plans and push to go in certain directions, but the “law of unintended consequences”, is a bigger stronger force and will always wins in the end, not necessary in the direction we intend.
The reformation, enlightenment and numerous so called experts or social engineers of the last 500 years or so tried to fix problems that was seen in their own time only to take us in a direction that we find ourselves in today.
