Afterpay take 5% of all sales from a business when there financial product is used to make a purchase.

PayPal Pay in 4 (when launched in Oz, June), will not be charging business anything to use there BNPL product.
they really cant pass on that 5% Afterpay charge to consumers yet, as rightly consumers wont accept it.

However consumers will use PayPal as an alternative to Afterpay when its available, it will be cheaper for them to do so, as i know when PayPal enters the Oz market, Business owners will be able to add the sucharge to Afterpay purchases, AS they can offer the customer PayPal as a cheaper alternative.

Most consumers in Oz probably havent heard of Klarna or Zip as Afterpay dominates the market....and why would you use them if your already using Afterpay....right ?

Buy I bet they have all heard of PayPal, and most will already have a PayPal account set up.....
