The US Fed Reserve keeps printing money - surely this is going to come home to roost soon - it has to IMO. Can't see how the US can ever repay it's trillions and trillions of dollars in debt. Without a gold backing, paper money is just that - paper. From where I sit - gold has got to play a bigger role in future as a store of real tangible value.

I appreciate you have studied and invested a large amount of your life in understanding and interpreting economics, but I can't see how the long term "quantitaive easing" of the Fed and others won't place the US and therefore the world in a dire financial position sometime in the fairly near future. Call me crazy, but gold looks like great insurance to me.
