Who cares what the result of the investigation is? It makes no difference. It's just a distraction to take people's attention away from the fact the company is slowly, quietly going broke in the background. The company Directors and lawyers are being paid huge fees from what little is left in the bank account to put on this smoke and mirrors show.
'We found the previous Directors failed in their fiduciary responsibility. Unfortunately the company indemnified them against any claims of damages caused by their actions.
In other news, the company has $200 in its bank account. But it was worth it...right?'
