PM said that Australia is largest polluter per capita. This is because even though we might not push CO2 into the air, we sell the stuff that does - unfortunately the C02 is credited to us not the country of emission.

So long after we have shut down every factory and every coal-fired electricity plant we will still wear the tag of highest polluter per capita. Sadly, the main industries left will be in mining and in the public service.
