I am very involved with a company that manufactures here in Australia, would employ probably 1000 people through all states. And I can tell as a fact, they are under enormous pressure now from imported product in direct competition, in fact they lost Bunnings not all that long to a Chinese product because it is cheaper. No where near the quality, but cheaper....meaning more profit for the wholesaler / retailer. That is just the beginning dear friends!

Anybody who believes this tax is not going to have a knock on affect with all manufacturing industry in this country, and lead to job losses have got their head buried in the sand, just as the Labor Party has.

The manufacturing sector in this country is on it's knees, a few more stupid jabs from this inept Government and there is litle point continuing. Golden Circle saw it coming so have closed the Beetroot production facility at Geebung in Qld, why, because if they didn't move offshore now they wouldn't be in business in 12 months time!
