Depending on the agreement that eventuates, just looking at the pricing in the post by @Bouddha0357 we are currently seeing pricing of between US$11,500 to US$13,000 per tonne depending if it is carbonate or hydroxide, with hydroxide being the lesser.

A 40,000tpa converter given those prices would give shared revenues of between$600 to $675 million Aussie dollars.

Funny enough the kinda volume of spodumene that would be required for that is just under the current plant name plate production output with 320,000 tonnes.

With lithium chemicals pricing heading up now probably isn't the time to set a contract price, though from what I have seen of Pilbara management they have never agreed to a specific price but a mechanism that establishes the price.

Choi Jeong-woo has big plans for POSCO to be a leader in lithium chemicals and cathode production, and Korea is well aware of the dominance that China has over them when it comes to Lithium Chemicals.

Does anyone have access to a breakdown of the current supply agreements that Pilbara has with it's various customers that they can share?
