I have just phoned my brother in the UK (to his land-line phone) for free, yes, free using VOIP. See www.voipcheap.co.uk/en/index.html. Not very reliable yet with the occasional cut-out, and although the quality is OK, it's not quite as good computer-to-computer. I'm not sure yet if this is a permanent service or whether it will eventually be costed. It will probably be OK between Australian phones too.
Where is this going to leave Engin, I wonder. There is just so much competition around that even if Engin has a large customer base they may not make much money. Just look at the wine industry as an example. Great product but just too much competition (and wine).
