The investment aims to deliver a reasonably reliable regular cashflow with some inflation protection/income growth potential for the purpose of providing a salary replacement type income stream.
An investment of this nature has to be a long term investment. I would think that the majority of its target market would be more concerned about how and where their income is delivered rather than capital gains. CGs are available elsewhere.
