Regarding TIM and GTP mentioned earlier in this thread -

GTP hit a peak of $5 in January 2005 and has been falling steadily ever since, with the recent steep fall from $1.40 to 69.5c being no steeper than several others during the long decline.

TIM hit a peak of around $4 in mid '06 and has been falling ever since with a steeper decline from $1.20 to 75c occurring since early May.

The long term average of FCL has risen from $1.40 in Feb '94 to around $2.20 before the recent decline.

But Futuris has typically traded over a wide range eg from mid '03 to recently it rose from $1.40 to $2.20 but varied in a 20% range in that time.

The current fall is only slightly more than the mid '02 slump.

This stock has a seasonal look about it - the long term graph would be familiar to the man on the land who is used to good and bad years, rising trends and droughts. But like the farmer, one must reap and sew this stock - sow when the ground is bare (buy when the price is low) and reap when the crop is mature (sell on the highs).

Take another look at the long term graph and think about my observations - I think you guys may be wanting to sow your dollars into this fertile ground - I will be doing just that on the morrow.

Of course, I could be wrong, so DYOR :)

    Robert
