It's not often that I agree with something (anything?) that Possum says, but on this statement at least, I can concur:
"You are suggesting that companies can manufacture good news when it's required. That's a nonsense."
Manufacturing good news (at which, ironically, both Volt and Possum have been very proficient), is never in the shareholders interest. Unfortunately, he omits to say that the reason there is no factual good news coming, is that there is none to be had - and none on the immediate horizon.
Through the incompetent management of Matthews and his board, Volt finds itself being governed by factors beyond its control and unless there are some major changes pending (cessation of Ukraine war, funding for Bunyu, etc), we shouldn't be expecting any 'good news' announcements, or share price recovery.
And Possum is right about one more thing - patience, long suffering shareholders!
Hopefully, the new chief is better at his job than his predecessor.
