Appreciate that. Mgmt need to behave like they are on a PIP. Clearly articulate their strategy and plan of action, then provide regular and clear updates against this plan - good, bad or indifferent. It would provide their shareholders some confidence they are focussed on the things that will have the greatest impact. No doubt they will need to navigate the things they can’t control. The silence and lack of structure in comms sets fire to growing shareholder distrust. Bad news doesn’t get better with time. Nor does comfort grow with prolonged silence.
