I think you need to understand 5c, that HC is a club - for people who have committed to a particular investment strategy and want to surround themselves with like-minded cheerleaders who will prop up their decisions and egos.
They are very fragile and nervous in their beliefs, however, so any contrarian, or dissenting, sentiment is unwelcome. The really paranoid ones push to have such posters ousted from the forum by pleading for them to 'sell and 'move on'. You see, dissenters are an existential threat to them and no amount of logic, or reason, will outweigh their fears.
