Yep, as I have recently stated your best exposure to gold right now is in currency, I.e Aussie gold. Benn saying for omen time that Aussie gold will outperform. So at last we agree on something.

Unfortunately due to CBs constant market interventions currencies mostly do not reflect the risk associated with them. The market is distorted in so many areas at this point it is hard to know which is the least risky bet. As other posters have mooted, the adage of eggs & many baskets make sense. I'm all out of equities barring gold stocks, in cash, & Australian fixed income as of about a month ago & will stay that way until I see some rational to change.
