    thanks for the reply newfish.

you wrote: "I don't hate css. I lack confidence in them and was left a little hot headed after reading a report from them which started me posting. I found what was said deceiving in light of the facts. If the report never had that one thing written in it, you never would have heard from me (i.e I had no intention of highlighting a range of facts, that would ultimately lead to you joining hotcopper out of the blue to defend a company, and only that company, by random chance)"

well to be honest with you I have only been investing for the last 10 years. i had 2x investments for 7 years each. my wife was having the second kid and I thought it would be a good idea to transfer 1/2 of the investments into her name for tax purposes when it did take off. we had a third kid and she said afterwards that she didn't want anymore. i gave her a choice if she didn't want a 4th kid then we would seperate and eventually divorce. i gave her the option of what she wanted to do with the half of the investments which i transferred to her name. she said it would affect her getting centrelink payments and to get rid of it. i told her she should wait another 1-2 years but she was adamant just to get it sold. it was before an prelim and she didn't care so it was sold (at a small profit $27k - not so good after close to 10 years). once the prelim came out it shot more than 100% then again and again... her decision cost us a possible $420k extra profit to the peak. i still hold another investment i've had for over 10+ years now still. after she screwed us up then she saw the light and agreed that she would now have a 4th kid. so next january we will begin trying for the 4th (the other option was the split --- but i think she sees that it might be possible for me to get the same possible windfall again [but i'm not so sure -- it is somewhat of a once in a lifetime thing for me]).
why i tell u this is your implying that i joined hotcopper because of you posting lol. my first post is from the ABC landline archives and the such not about defense of the company. and this is the only thing that i have posted for, is right. i have never wanted to join hotcopper to talk junk about companies i like to let them do their own thing. if they are good or great then make the most of it but if they suck move on easy. i told my wife that i would retry investing more but not in including her for any decision making. the only thing holding my head together is that she has agreed to keep the family growing (we will see in january next year and i will keep you posted). i promise you that it is nothing to do with you or anyone else that i joined hotcopper and am posting. this company must prove its self and i feel it will have a huge future and that they are headed in the right direction. time will tell and with what i've learn't since i begun investing i am interested with the CSS future aswell and will be a long term investor.

and it is nice to have met you what ever the circumstances be. and do what you like at the end of the day.
