some calcs i did in another thread:

so lets assume a lynas basket price of $30 p/kg when lynas is up and running (thats 18% less than the current $37 LYC basket price)

production costs are around $15 once the wheels are greased.

an extra $100m for admin costs etc, adds $5 p/kg, so we're left with $10 profit p/kg

$10 x 22,000,000kg = $220m profit

$220 / 1.75b shares = 12.5c ps

pe of ten = $1.25

minus x for political risk etc...


of course, Lynas is a 30 year company, not a 5 or 10 year company... when the next bull market comes around, when technologies develop utilizing the advantages of ree's, the price will rise, and lynas will stand to benefit...
