Hi HB, you could arguably say that the new board and new focus was much needed to ‘freshen’ up the company, not detracting from the foothold the ‘old’ board’ established.
New board and new focus though is not so brand new anymore, new coat of painting on a ‘old’ building or the ‘beginnings’ of a actual new building?, you would hope the second.
Amgs call of 20 cents; very big call, that in actual fact is a ten bagger! of interest was ABDMs call of 35 cents (before the post was quickly deleted), the hope then was much fresher, with talk on many fronts of new partners and apps for OBJ science.
Since then those hopes much tarnished and tattered!, the assertion or perhaps implied is that the old BOD were ‘remiss’ in moving forward, why has the science REALLY failed to be put on market to this date, still the ‘same’ science isn’t it?
Assumption is that the present revenue received WILL be maintained and added to by ‘new’ products (beauty field) coming onto market.
Challenging that assumption; present revenue (from existing IP on the shelf) has leveled out now AND may drop, how many wands before the market is saturated, the wand life 2 years plus (?), will consumers rebuy then??
How long for market penetration for the new, soft launch or hard, commercial life span of the new products, etc.
Would it be a consideration that the beauty industry is fickle by nature and that sheer reliance on being a ‘one trick pony’ is a mantle OBJ wears?
That the sheer amount of time Bodyguard has been bandied about is now wearing thin, that its science is now relatively ‘well knowed’ by previous suitors who have rejected it.
I would say, god forbid, that if this is actually ‘knocked’ on the head, as the Surface hygiene (?) was, then the prospects of this company will be very dim.
Company will/are vigorously focusing on this, that it has not shown green shoots is a definite worry, imo, as they will recognise the vital importance of this this outcome for the future of OBJ.
Again they may have to ‘grab’ any deal presented to have a foothold for this new tech, why not a agreed low royalty to start out with that increases with market penetration?
That even this has not eventuated is a concern, considering the vital importance of it to do so.
