Hi Deidre. I misread your bit about the railway to Burnie port. The rail line to Burnie already exists. What is needed is the re-joining of the Intec mill line to the present line. As part of the election campaign Labor promised it would fund the re-connection to the extent of over $11 million and take it on to the Zeehan Slag heap and possibly beyond.
All great news for Intec. Now all that has to happen is for the Labor government to live up to its promise.
