NEW YORK, Oct 20 (Reuters) - U.S. stock index futures
extended gains on Monday, helped by signs of further easing of
interbank lending rates.
The drop in the cost for banks to borrow from each other
buoyed hopes that confidence was returning to credit markets.

S&P 500 futuresrose 26.10 points and were above
fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into
account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the
