quarter of a % would make more sense heck in 2 weeks they could slice another 0.25% if they really wanted to seems the fed reserve can cut any day of the work week it wants under emergency presidential legislation. Its less indepdant and more political in the US than our fed reserve so the pressure is there for a biggie.
