Even if the DOW goes up 2nite by say 80 or so points - which I doubt, it makes no difference to the overall trend which is down. A new low will be made and this pattern will continue. There aren't enough ''bargain hunters out there stupid enough that will go shopping before the real discounts appear". I also think the ASX has reached it's limits for this week anyway and what we'll see is simply trading within a range, whether up or down. Next few weeks however, it will go down further and to around the 3800. After is anyones guess.
