Actually If we were privy to backroom political/economic discussions in Malaya my bet is that this statement by HBunton would be one of the MAJOR issues.
I understand that for many years Malaysia has suffered a manufacturing industry drain to China. From my own research i understand they are aggressively trying to attract industry to the country and you can be sure this economic stragegy would impact positively on the Lynas situation even independant of Siemans.
I betcha that someone is already taking credit (rightly so) for the strategic and practical implimentation of Lynas and how by doing so has atttracted Seimans as a spin of.
Good on ya Malayasia for clever moves.
