The lower grades of NdFeB are far more susceptible to replacement by higher grades of other types of magnets and by redesign.
The EV traction is capable of extracting far more value from far less NdFeB than many other products at it has been squeezed to the point of highest efficiency, esp with use of Halbach arrays.
In the end, most NdFeB will be sold with Dy. Even now probably 25% of open market representing 50% of global market value.
Dysprosium is incredibly important to Lynas, to NdFeB, to high power high value applications, to ROW and XXROW technological manufacturing.
