Not long ago my Brokers system was showing ( as at 20th June a dividend yield of 1.96% on FWD ) on this stock even after the interim dividend.
I queried it on two occassions as my calculations were vastly different and was told that they get their data feeds from Morningstar and that they were correct. (Bullshit in my opinion but what would I know.)
This is the reason I was given " Morningstar calculates the dividend yield (DPS Final + DPS Interim) / (100.0*P.[Close]). Whilst ASX uses the formula Total Annual Dividend Rate per Share/ Last Close. "
Just make sure you do your own calculations to verify data provided by these experts !
Its good to see that this chart has now been updated it looks better and by sounds of things next year should be similar if not better all things being equal.
