You can consult their documents for the offset rules, for Commsec if it's buy and then sell it offsets the sell within two days after the buy, if it's sell then buy it offsets the buy within one day after the sell. I don't know the Westpac if it's the same with Commsec it'll be ok, but better to search their documents or just call them to confirm that
