WB visiting the microbial cellulose suppliers would be for more than a photo-op...
We're missing an update on the next pilot spin that was supposedly being initiated this quarter ending in 2 days. The huge gaps between the first two pilot spins and the minimal cellulose fibre content in the spins (20% and 30%) keeps me thinking there's a supply chain issue right at the start of the process, they're not getting enough microbial feed. WB being at the suppliers facility gives this thought more gravitas.
Why are we still doing spins at 20 and 30% blends, where are the 40, 60, 80% blends they anticipated when they were ramping up development towards their first spin?
At the start of the year (in one of the quarterly reports, potentially the one ending Dec 22) they said parts of the second spin would generate cash receipts for the company. Spin was completed at the start of April, almost 3 months ago now. Lets see those receipts in the coming report.
The company used to be a lot better than this at keeping shareholders updated.
