It is stated in the Constitution that there are four big banks and that they are to be protected. Another little known section of our founding document is that boomers are not to pay tax.
Those holding for 20 years would have a different disposition towards banks than more recent buy ins. That said, I was the clown who waited for $12 when NAB got down to $13 in 2020.
For me, yes it has underperformed, but I think that the SP reflects this- but I do not have the tools to defend this stance.
I hold BOQ and WBC- surely this disqualifies me from any serious discussion around the merits of banks? Took profits on the other banks. No wonder retail punters have a poor reputation. But, somehow well in front trading banks- more luck than science.
