Gilly, if you are coming to the Nearmap AGM this year (like you did back in 2015), you should really ask management the Why 'CR $20 million in a hurry' question. I would be delighted to meet anyone from the HotCopper forum.

Maybe you are thinking & trying to read too much into things?

Unless there are fresh data being released that contradicts the current growth trends, we still have:

AUS growing
US growing
AUS is self sustaining
US is not yet self sustaining

A recession in the AUS economy might or might not occur.

But even if a recession in AUS does occur, it still does not mean the Nearmap AUS business will grind to a complete stop. After all, a recession in one sector is often a boom for another, as long as Nearmap can dip themselves in both sides of the economy cherry pie, it's all GOOD.

Anyway, boom or bust, who can say NO to saving TIME & MONEY.
