A marketing company and a manufacturing company are two very, very different beasts.
Take for example labour supply. If you miss a marketing person out of the marketing department for a week the world does not come to an end.
If you miss a person on a manufacturing line for a week the line may grind to a halt with all sorts of repercussions. ) a very loose example I know - but I can't be bothered going into the complex detail)
Also supply of product becomes all Manufacturing problem. The marketing, which requires a whole different skill set / mentality, is a whole different issue.
