Actuals v Predictions(as above):
1)Revenue: Actual $782 v Prediction $771 - all to do with higher Freight added back
2)Cost of sales: Actual $337 v Prediction $366
Main difference: Changes in inventories: Actual -$45.5 v Prediction -$19.5 with the big difference in ore stocks that jumped in value by $53mil v my prediction of $14.5mil - very hard guessing how much they have in 'rocks' on the ground.
3)Profit before tax: Actual $461 v Prediction $422 so tax expense proportionally higher.
4)Profit after tax: Actual $322 v Prediction $295
