12 months ago things were different and its not just about pellet prices, a new index was created, the company- GRR declared significant divys which IMO has meant a recalibration to the SP.
Until a year ago many GRR SH rightfully thought they wouldn't get the divys they deserved but look at what happened GRR paid out 2 x 10c (one special ) plus 2c and thats the difference so the current pellet price doesn't reflect that management decided to reward SH.
Pellet price obviously determines how big the divy is but the company has plenty of cash reserved for capex at SD where from memory only needs about $120M and this can drive a up to 30% reduction in costs which will in turn drive the Southdown 10 mtpa project.
You have to agree with FT86 plenty of gloomy posters but at 60c late Oct was good buying.
