Yes you would have to assume now we're increasing our exposure to Nebari to around US$30mil but I wonder how the market is going to take the news that we're more than doubling-down with these 'loan sharks'(16.67%pa is still a big bite) - will they think it reeks of desperation or isn't the amount enough to worry about? It'll be interesting to see whether share buybacks will be allowed by Nebari in 2024.
For two years we've been told a cheap (sub10%pa) working capital facility from a Thai Bank or syndicate was coming but alas another plan hasn't come to fruition. Let's hope the latest carrot dangled in front of shareholders regarding the disposal of NE(either by IPO or sale) doesn't fall over as it remains the first likelihood of shareholders realising a distribution from their KCN investment.
So we're up a massive 5.3% over the last 15 months at today's close - must surely be the worse performing gold producer on the ASX over this period with gold metal up 18%+ over this period.
