posted this early this morning - after reading the article titled "Acquisitions and Mongolia High on BHP CEO's Agenda" you cant tell me that BHP wouldnt be keeping a close eye on the future drilling plans that Genreral Mining Corporation willbe undertaking in this drilling season -
Should favourable drilling results prove an econoimic potash deposit within the UVS Basin, i seriosuly wonder if Marius Kloppers would be keen to let the opportunity pass without trying to seize the project for themselves - All bodes well for GMM and its shareholders but lets start the ball rolling with some positive news to set the shareprice north- we must at least be close to securing a drilling contractor by now you would hope as we are well within the drilling season- it baffles me why a company with such a lucrative project would wait so late to secure a drilling contractor to hopefully unearth the motherlode of discoveries. Dont get me wrong, I understand that the drilling season is until Novemeber 2011, but surely the board of GMM must understand that the sideways movement of the current GMM shareprice is to a great extent attributed to a lack of meaningful announcements regarding our potash exploration tenements in the UVS Basin -
With that all said, I have sold many shares throughout my investing career only to see them go much higher and due to my lack of patience, I missed the boat on potential gains. At the end of the day, this share is one that I will not be letting go for sometime yet as it ticks all the boxes for my investing philosophies - It may be a delay in securing a drilling contractor, but at least we can be rest assured that once that does happen and the real excitement of driling approaches- the scramble will be on from investors wanting in on this little gem exploraing the fertile, mineral rich lands of Mongolia -
Lets just hope that our upcoming Shoemaker IO+MN project can fire up the shareprice a little with good drilling results to form a good floor under the shareprice , to bounce off when our potash drilling bit hits the ground -
