In fact no one has enough gold other than the US to put together a gold backed currency. All this unexplained unexamined theory is simply myth.

The ASX IMO will be around 1500-2200 at the bottom , as we approach that kind scenario I will average in (yes its delusional to try and pick a bottom) so I will simply approximate

This is a 1/100 year scenario and many of the commentators, especially those mentioned have very narrow view of what happened in history or they are to narrowly focused on like US scenarios

Like the USD crashing scenario is a complete joke, the physics of this happening when every other currency is structurally weaker is delusional

or thw Chines stop buy US debt scenario, another delusional one from folks that have very little understanding of why the Chinese buy US debt in the first place

it all part of the delusions of crowds, the gold fraternity is no different to the rest of the market, mostly living in optimistic psychological scenarios where they make the "big score" and become fabulously wealthy over night.
