LOL you have to have some vision of the long term future.

Of course we couldn't shift to any form of Gold backed currency right now.

That is why Australia and the rest of the world must buy gold over the coming years and build up strong reserves.

This of course will shoot Gold sky high. At the end of the day it won't matter how high Gold goes because It will all be purchased by the wealthy and the Gov'ts.

Then and only then will there be some Gold backed curreny IMHO.

We are talking years in the making here though.

This will not happen over night.
