That definition of growth you quoted is incorrect , as it left out revenue the main KPI to use for companies at the stage Alexium is at .
Amazon never made positive cash flow or earnings for many years but no one would in reflection say it was not a growth company as revenue and market share increased , similar to Alexium it grew 1200% in cash receipts in one year .
I must admit it would be interesting to see a break down of how that revenue was achieved , if it mainly was from one off licenses then that would be concerning as potentially the future revenue from the licensee would be less annually than the initial license fee , so better if the revenue in the last year was mainly from actual product sales .
