Actually the bot was switched between buys and sells to try to control the price passively with slightly more buying than selling. The last hour was a feeding frenzy with that $1.15 chunk swallowed virtually whole!
Maybe another announcement is in the wings, but maybe the big players have waited for a retrace that never happened...
