Well it peaked at 1635 and retreated, not surprising given the volume is VERY low (as usual after a BIG night in the US) Everyone tentative to see if the market sustains the rally. Big boys on the sidelines letting the small volume consolidate.
Possibly test 1585 at this rate and then may find it harder to break through 1600 when the volume increases imo.
We have to remember that the sp went to 1634 on the 7th Jan. At that stage there was heavy speculation that WOR was possibly struggling in the weak environment. Since then WOR's half year results were very impressive to say the least and it continues to collect new contracts beefing up the order book. One has to think that if we get a bit more momentum in the st 1600 will be behind us soon imo.
One thing for sure if the US stays even slightly green tonight and oil doesn't go down we could see a very good run tomorrow imo. This afternoon is not out of the question either depending on how Asia goes which I'm backing will show strength.
