The beauty of that post is that dargie loaded up his portfolio to the max with AZZ in the early 40s and it now sitting pretty. Sold 1/3rd so far, keeping 2/3rds. I wonder if the "doh" person was smart enough to do the same.
So many companies have bought crap (and i suspect they bought the crap from 'mates' who slung them some money around the back door), although I know of one company who bought something from a major from the internet that looks like it is going to turn into something, so it's not necessarily all bad.
I think this is just the beginning for AZZ. They will not drill the deep Shaeffer prospects until they can farm down to a free-ish or lower cost carry but still a reasonable expense as the deep well would be too expensive to drill on their own.
No "dohs" at this end lately.
